Muscular Dystrophy Animal Models & CRO Services The muscular dystrophies (MDs) are a group of inherited diseases causing progressive muscle wasting and weakness. Biotrofix is highly experienced with mouse models of MD (including Duchenne and Miyoshi dystrophies), including studies of drug and stem cell administration in these models. Endpoints of these studies are histological and functional (muscle strength).
